Salt - pinch
Preparation Time: 5 min
Cooking Time: 45 min
Sieve the gram flour into a fine powder without any lumps.
Boil 2.5 cups of water and keep aside.
Add ghee, gram flour, and chopped cashew in a heavy-bottom pan.
Roast the flour at low flame (flour will look like a thick batter consistency).
Check the cashew nuts in frequent intervals whether it's roasted nicely.
Once the cashew nuts are roasted, the flour is also roasted.
Switch off the flame and add the hot water to the flour. Keep stirring else it will form lumps.
Add in the sugar, elaichi, and pinch of salt.
Mix together. Switch on the stove again and keep stirring at medium flame by adding 2 tsp of ghee until the halwa doesn't stick to the pan.
