Palak leaves -1 large bunch
Green chillies - 3
Paneer cubed - 2 cup
Garlic - 6 cloves
Ginger - 1 inch chopped
Onion - 1 sliced
Tomatoes - 2 sliced
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
Preparation Time: 10 min
Cooking Time: 35 min
After cleaning and washing the palak, put it in boiling water for 2 mins and drain it.
You will get wilted leaves, Now blend it along with the green chillies and keep it aside.
In a pan take some oil and heat. Now put the cumin seeds and let it sputter.
Add onion and saute it for a couple of minutes till it is translucent.
Add in the ginger and garlic and saute until the raw smell goes off.
Now put the tomatoes and cook everything together, after that add a bit of salt.
Now add spinach paste to the pan and cook it for a few minutes so that you get a lovely green gravy.
Now add in the garam masala powder and salt. Now add paneer cubes, cook it for 5 mins.
Taste and adjust seasoning as per preference. Don’t cook it for too long.
Take it off the fire. Garnish with some coriander leaves and some fresh cream.
Serve palak paneer with hot rotis. Enjoy!
