Millet flakes - 1 cup

Potato - 2 Boiled

Carrot - 1 shredded

Capsicum - 1 Chopped

Onion - 1 Chopped

Curry leaves - few

Chilli Powder - 1 tsp

Garam Masala - 1 tsp

Salt - As required

Oil - For pan fry

Preparation Time: 10 min

Cooking Time: 20 min


In a large colander put the flakes and wash over running tap water. Let them sit in the colander until use so that the flakes will be soft and pliable.

In a mixing bowl add the boiled potatoes and mash them well. Then add chopped onions, capsicum, carrot (you can add peas, beans and other veggies too).

Then add chilli powder, garam masala,salt,curry leaves and the flakes.Then knead it well to make a soft dough.

Take a ball sized dough and flatten it between your palms to make cutlets.

Brush some oil in a pan and place the shaped cutlets. Fry them on medium flame until both the sides turn golden brown in color.

Enjoy the cutlets with tomato ketchup.
