Rice flour – ½ cup
Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
Black pepper – ¼ tbsp
Green chilli - 2 nos
Gram flour - 1 cup
Salt as required

In a large bowl add gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder, pepper powder and required salt and mix well.
Now gradually add the water into the dry ingredients to make a smooth - thick batter. Batter should not be runny.
Cut the boiled egg into two halves and coat them with the prepared batter nicely.
Then place the batter coated eggs in hot oil one by one and cook until golden brown on all the sides.
Drain the excess oil and serve along with ketchup or green chutney.
