Idly Batter - 3 cups
Beetroot – 1 medium size
Green Chilli – ½ tbsp
Salt to taste
Preparation Time: 30 min
Cooking Time: 15 min
Put the beetroot in a mixer grinder along with green chilli salt and water and grind as a smooth paste.
Add the beetroot puree to the idli batter and mix uniformly.
Now fill the greased idli plates with the batter and steam cook for 15-20 mins.
Serve the hot pink idlis with the choice of your chutney.
