Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the procurement of goods and services required for operations.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective purchases
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Resolve any issues related to purchases, such as delays or quality concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the procurement process.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Requirements
- Qualification: Any Degree
- Experience: 0–1 year in procurement or a similar role (specific experience in the milk industry is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Problem-solving skills to handle procurement challenges.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Languages: English, Tamil – Read/Write/Speak.
